Sharrise Simmons will receive an associate’s degree in Liberal Arts from the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC).  Last summer, Sharrise was the only community college student in the McNair/C-STEP Scholars Research program at Clarkson University. Sharrise would like to join the medical research field and is particularly interested in public health issues affecting underserved communities. She has been accepted by George Washington and Northeastern Universities, as well as Washington College.
