Veronica Nunez was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and will graduate from Queensborough Community College. A Liberal Arts and Science major, she has completed her associate’s degree and plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. While at Queensborough, Veronica served as the president of PTK and recently completed a summer child psychology program in Denmark.  Already accepted by Smith and Mount Holyoke Colleges, Veronica hopes to open orphanages for abandoned children in Latin America one day.
