Big Dream: Born and raised in NYC to Puerto Rican parents, Edemir plans to ultimately earn a Master's Degree in public policy and eventually head to law school. He currently works with Generation Citizen, where he co-teaches a 6th-grade class. During his time there, he teaches the students about advocacy and ways to improve their communities. He hopes to continue this kind of work because he believes democracy education is of vital importance for the health of our democratic institutions.
